Commitment to quality, safety and sustainability sees Euramax achieve significant recognition

Leading uPVC manufacturer Euramax Solutions has once again achieved ISO 45001 certification, the international standard for Health and Safety, thanks to successfully and significantly reducing workplace related risks and providing a solid framework for the health, safety, and wellbeing of its employees.

The Barnsley-based fabricator has also again achieved ISO 9001 accreditation, the international standard for Quality Management Systems, after successfully meeting the needs of its customers thanks to consistent product quality, a strong customer focus, and a drive for continual improvement.

And finally, the company’s long-term commitment to sustainability has seen Euramax successfully achieve ISO 14001 accreditation, the international standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS), after proving a significant reduction in waste, improved resource efficiency, and a cut in waste management costs.

Managing Director Emma Chapman comments: “At Euramax, we have a commitment to making a positive and sustainable contribution in all areas of the modular construction sector, as part of a wider scheme by our parent company, Modular Group Investments

“The UK government has outlined a plan to end the country’s contribution to global warming by 2050, and as a company, we’ve invested in the development of several carbon reduction strategies, with our main objective being to be completely carbon neutral long before that deadline. To be recognised for our efforts is truly humbling, and shows that we’re definitely on the right track.

“We’re also extremely proud to have been recognised for our commitment to health and safety and for our consistent product quality and improvement.

“To have achieved three such significant accreditation certifications is something that’s incredibly important to us, as it recognises our company’s commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability, three principles we very much plan to continue in coming years.”

Working from a 205,000 square foot factory in Barnsley, Euramax Solutions is a leading manufacturer of uPVC windows and doors, supplying to the off-site and modular construction, DIY and home improvement, new build and holiday home and leisure markets.
