Technical Support Engineer
Posted on: April 6, 2022Based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, Euramax Solutions are a well established Manufacturing Business, trading for over 70 years. We are growing considerably and looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team, ideally located within the Hull area.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide support on customer premises, including best practise technical advice, repairs, adjustment and replacement of products and components.
- Carry out works to the highest standards of workmanship and in line with H&S procedures
- Develop and grow long term relationships with customers, delivering an exceptional customer service.
- Manage, interpret & communicate customer requirements.
- Provide support to customers during their set up, R&D cycle, production & after market.
- Guide clients to products and services that will best satisfy their needs.
- Work with the customer & internal departments to deliver solutions that meet or exceed the customers’ expectations.
- Provide pre & post product training & demonstrations Identify, monitor, communicate & resolve problematic trends.
- Support the Customer Service function to achieve business targets and goals.
- Attend Technical, H&S, Quality and customer meetings as requested.
- Provide an accurate weekly progress report on activities and client / market feedback.
The ideal candidate:
- Extensive and practical experience of the fenestration industry working with uPVC window and door products.
- CSCS card holder (The company will provide, if not a current holder)
- A solid technical background (A background in carpentry or joinery would be highly beneficial)
- Excellent punctuality and reliability.
- Outstanding attention to detail and takes pride in producing exceptional work.
- Customer cantered approach.
- Able to always communicate in a professional manner.
- Ability to work under own initiative whilst also being a key contributor in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Resilient & tenacious.
- Full driving licence.
- Competent use of IT.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, plus 30 minutes unpaid lunch break
Salary:
Negotiable depending on experience
