From our state-of-the-art 205,000 sq. ft manufacturing facility in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, we manufacture and supply 10,000’s of uPVC and Aluminium windows, uPVC and composite entrance doors and patio doors across the UK each year to our clients, in a fast, cost efficient way, whilst staying true to our environmental credentials. The role:

We are looking to recruit Manufacturing Operatives to join our team here at Euramax.

Working within a Manufacturing environment, you will assist with the production of UPVC products which include doors, windows, patios, showers etc.

Some of the tasks will involve heavy lifting.

This is an active role, involving standing and manual handling activities throughout the full shift.

 

 

The ideal candidate:

Previous experience of working within a similar environment would be an advantage.

Experience using power tools / hand tools desirable but not essential. Full training will be given.

Excellent attention to detail.

Good time keeping and attendance.

Able to follow company Health and Safety policies.

Good understanding of written and spoken English.

 

 

Shifts available:

Day Shift – Monday to Thursday 06.00 – 16.00

Twilight Shift – Monday to Thursday 16.00 – 02.00

 

Rates of Pay:

Day Shift – £9.50 per hour Monday to Thursday. 9.5 hour shift with 30 minutes unpaid break.

Twilight Shift – £9.50 per hour plus 18% shift premium (£11.21 per hour) Monday to Thursday. 9.5 hour shift with 30 minutes unpaid break.

The employment contract allows Euramax to alter the employees shift pattern (with relevant notice)  and if the employee is required to move from one shift to another shift their pay rate doesn’t change, however their shift premium is most likely to change. (Will be confirmed with new contract to reflect the change)
